A number of readers have written to me asking how I chart chores in my home. In this video, I show you some of my own chore charting system and explain a little bit about my chore charting philosophy.
Watch for a sequel (or several) to this video, which will go beyond the basics and share additional tips about chore charting that aren’t covered here. I’ll also go over other methods entirely, in case this isn’t exactly the one for you!

I like that you ended with the thought that the only kind of wrong chore charting is not doing one.
I think it would be helpful to those who have no experience with chore charting and/or chore assignment to see your example(s) close up. Perhaps a link to a google Doc to show your actual chart with the ages of the children to whom the charts belong. That would definitely have been helpful to me when I was beginning in chore “creation” and assignment. Thank you for this video. I hope you’re able to accomish what you desired in getting people to check this out! ^_^
I agree with Tori. I think a sample chart that your viewers could print out would be a great idea. I enjoyed the video. You had some good points and it seemed like a simple plan to start. I have been really weak in the chore area this year. I need to get back to where we were a few years ago. You might be my inspiration to start again.
